Bonds Beyond Borders: Passport to Fellowship is a travel-themed small group created to support our church’s goal of uniting members through meaningful relationships in the neighborhoods surrounding the church. The group will provide a welcoming space for members who enjoy traveling—or would like to travel. The goal is to form genuine bonds beyond the church campus and, eventually, while journeying to different destinations together.

Weekly gatherings will include discussions of travel aspirations, destination exploration, and practical travel information. Members will acknowledge the LORD in prayer and occasionally consider what traveling together can teach us about faith, relationships, growth, hospitality, and encountering people and places beyond what is familiar.

The group will share travel experiences, explore land- and sea-based opportunities, and identify trips members may enjoy together. These may include cruises, weekend getaways, cultural experiences, domestic vacations, or international travel. Although some experiences may include destinations or activities of religious interest, the group will not be limited to religious tours. Rather, travel will provide a setting in which Christian fellowship can deepen naturally through shared experiences.

The group leader hopes to coordinate one to four travel experiences each year for members and their guests, depending on the group’s interests, schedules, and budgets. Whether gathering locally or traveling farther away, the purpose of Bonds Beyond Borders is to create lasting memories and strengthen relationships through shared journeys as brothers and sisters in Christ.

An empathetic Christian support group for adults who are grieving the loss of a loved one. While this group is not the church’s 13-week GriefShare class you can take through Patria Church, it was inspired by the GriefShare program and the positive impact the class and great it’s facilitators has had on many who participated. We are not professional grief experts, but we understand the deep and personal nature of grief, and we come together to share encouragement, resources, prayer, and personal experiences as we fellowship and walk alongside one another through our grief journey. God has shaped my life in a way that allows me to bridge my personal and professional experiences with my calling to help others. Through my own experiences, my professional training, and the gifts God has given me, I am passionate about helping people navigate challenging circumstances, find hope, discover their strength, and grow through the process. UPLIFT: Care for the Caregiver Support Group is an extension of that calling—a space rooted in faith, compassion, understanding, and support. My hope is that through this community, we can encourage one another, share our experiences, and remind each other that even in difficult seasons, God is present and working in our lives.

Verses Virtual Bible Study provides a platform for women to gain a deeper understanding of scripture and share ideas about a variety of relevant topics.
